The Home Party system provides Guests the opportunity to buy items at half-price according to their Regular Price purchases (see chart below). The half-price items are offered as an incentive to encourage them to order more items, which in turn increases your profit. As noted previously, your wholesale cost is half or slightly less than half of the catalog price so the cost of the Guest half-price item(s) are covered by what the Guest is paying you.
